Festival
September 26 and 27, 2008
Every year, at the end of September,
Kuttawa celebrates a bountiful harvest by filling the streets with music, food,
and fun. We have many wonderful events in which any one can participate.

Arts, Crafts and Great Food
will begin Friday Evening |

Talent Contest Friday night
6:30pm-9:00pm Three Age Groups in which to
compete and prizes for 1st and 2nd in
each group |

Decorate your yard in a beautiful, natural Harvest theme and be rewarded.

Yard Decoration Contest. |

"Bark in the Park" Dog Show Bring your best looking pup to
Old Kuttawa Park Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 10:00AM and win prizes for
the Longest Tail, Shortest Tail, Cutest Outfit, Best
Trick, Best Groomed, and Judges Choice. (All dogs must
be leashed to participate.) |

Do you make the best Apple Pie in town? Then you should enter the
Apple Pie Contest. Judging will take
place on Saturday, September 22, 2007 by Noon. Ribbons will be awarded
to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place pie. |

Dress up a Pumpkin and bring it to the small pavilion Saturday,
September 22, 2007 at 10:00 AM. You can carve, draw, paint or simply
dress up the pumpkin. Originality and uniqueness will matter most in the
following categories: Best Dressed, Spookiest, Funniest, and Best of
Show. |

Kayak and Canoe Race on the Lake. There will be a race and
treasure hunt for kids 12 and under. Please come by City Hall to pick a
registration form or contact Bruce or Terri Sauer for more information at
270-388-6430 or Tasauer@bellsouth.net
